# The Trig Library

The Trig library defines the standard trig functions, their inverse functions, the hyperbolic trig functions and their inverse functions. It extends the commonly used commands to include functionality to manipulate these objects.

The Trig library defines:
• The standard trig functions, the hyperbolic trig functions and the inverse functions for both groups.
• Functionality to move back and forth between degrees and radians.

To create an number in degrees, just type the number, then Space, then "degrees" - the autocomplete popup will show the Degrees object with the number inside of it.

The Convert command can change back and forth between degrees and ratios of Pi for angles like 0, 90, etc.

• Identities that relate trig functions. Many of these identities are accessible through the Equivalence command. Some are also accessible using commands like Simplify and Expand.
